What is a Tuesday?

Well, it's not Monday... whew.... it's not the middle of the week and it's certainly not the weekend! Tuesday is really the day of the week that is not branded.  Sunday: last day of the weekend or Holy day, Monday: beginning of the week, Wednesday: mid-week, Thursday: end of the week for some and weekend eve for others, Friday: T.G.I.F. Saturday: THE weekend.  That leaves Tuesdays... hmmm.  That LEAVES Tuesdays!!!! What could Tuesday be? Oh the possibilities! Tuesday could become the "try a new coffee flavor" day, "comfy shoe" day, "no negative thoughts" day, "warm smile" day, or even "gaze at the stars" day.  With so many options there really is no reason to settle on one! Let's just call Tuesdays "take a moment" day.

So, get inspired and take a moment today.  After all, it's Tuesday!  

Breath of Fresh... sunday evenings

The lovely evening breeze, the bottle of sparkling lemonade from yesterdays blog, and the recent visit with a dear cousin made me think... Don't let all of these summer Sunday evenings pass without sitting down, taking a deep breath and enjoying!

When you buy a bottle of lemonade as a gift pick one up for yourself.  Chill your personal bottle in the fridge, pull out a pretty glass, pour yourself some, find a peaceful place to relax and enjoy the last moments of your weekend.  Ahhhhhh... relaxing refreshment... mmmmmm. 

It only takes a moment to make a moment (I will be discussing this in more detail in upcoming blogs)!

Recently Kim, the cousin I mentioned above, upon my arrival poured sparkling lemonade in a stemless wine glass and put a gorgeous strawberry in it.  It was quite delightful and it made me feel special! There is just nothing like presentation. It really does make a difference!

 Sometimes the tiniest details make the biggest impression!

TIP: For those ice connoisseurs... you could always stop by a Sonic, yep a Sonic, and purchase a bag of ice for moments such as these!  Also, you could put any berry, citrus slice, or even a cinnamon stick in it to make it special.

Breath of Fresh... creativity

Do you love being creative? Do you need some creative inspiration?

It doesn't have to be your greatest masterpiece to make your day.  It could simply be the first time you put a specific outfit together, the difference a new vase made in a room, or the mood created by consciously brightening someone's day with the right compliment!

Creativity is everywhere and everyone is born with it.  It looks, feels, tastes and even sounds different coming from each individual mind.  That, my friend is the beauty of the uniquely made individual.  And we can find that beauty designed in each other when we share it.  Look for the beauty and get inspired!
